About
Loveland, Colorado sculptor Sutton Betti grew up in an artistic family and began drawing at a young age. He began his formal art training in 1995 at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco focusing his studies on life drawing, painting, sculpture and human anatomy. He later became a sculpting assistant for figurative bronze sculptors in California and Colorado before embarking on his own full time career in the arts in 2008.
With a keen eye for portraiture, his delicately modeled, realistic bronze sculptures are imbedded with anatomical accuracy and attention to detail that make them come alive with a spark of life. His monumental sculptures focus on historical, sports and military themes that honor individuals and sacrifices made into a unique sculptural composition.
